Working together to advocate for policies and initiatives
that will advance and benefit the latino community.

Who we are

Formed in 2013 by Latino-led organizations in Boston, Chelsea, and Somerville, the Greater Boston Latino Network (GBLN) is a collective effort to address the historical underrepresentation of Latinos in leadership roles across these cities and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The current member organizations of the Greater Boston Latino Network include Chelsea Collaborative; Juan Leyton, activist and Roslindale resident; East Boston Ecumenical Community Council; Hyde Square Task Force; Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción; La Alianza Hispana; Latinos for Education; Lawyers' Committee for Civic Rights & Economic Justice; Sociedad Latina; and South Boston en Acción.

Our MISSION is to promote Latino leadership in decision-making positions at the local and state level – from city halls and local boards and commissions to schools and state agencies. We advocate for policies that bring new voices and leaders from the Latino community to the table to help shape the future of our Commonwealth.

Our VISION is to see a reflective representation of Latinos in leadership positions whose influence can be felt in improved outcomes for Latinos in Greater Boston.
